Interview with best selling children's author, Jacqueline Wilson
I had a lovely chat with one of Britain's best-selling and most-loved childrens' authurs, Jacky Wilson recently, ahead of the launch of her new book, 'The Magic Faraway Tree - a New Adventure.'
The creator of Tracy Beaker and Hetty Feather among so many others, she's written over 100 children's books with sales of over 40 million copies. Amongst many other accolades, Jacky was also appointed a Dame for her services to children's literature.
About to be published in May, Jacky's latest book, 'The Magic Faraway Tree : A New Adventure', is a follow-on from the wonderful Enid Blyton books that started with 'The Enchanted Wood' that I certainly remember as being one of the first books I read on my own and truly loved.
